Table Talk is a product of obycode, LLC. This policy describes how obycode, LLC ("we", "us") handles your information when you use Table Talk.

1. Information We Collect

To use Table Talk, you must create an account using your phone number and name. We collect:

• Your name (displayed to other players at the table)
• Your phone number (used to verify your identity via one-time SMS login codes)
• Your email address (optional — only if you add one for email notifications, calendar invitations, or news)

During registration, you may optionally consent to receive SMS game reminder notifications and (if you provide an email) marketing emails. These consents are separate from login codes and are not required to use the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Name: displayed to other players at the table and stored in your account profile.
• Phone number: used to authenticate your identity via one-time SMS login codes, and (if you consented) to send game reminder notifications. When you join a group you choose whether to share your number with that group; if you do, it is visible to that group's members so they can text the group directly, and you can change your choice at any time in the group's settings. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with any other party.
• Email address: if provided and verified, used to send game notifications when you choose email delivery, calendar invitations for scheduled game nights, and (if you consented) occasional news. If you reply to a calendar invitation, we process that reply to record your RSVP. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party.

3. SMS, Email & Push Messaging

Table Talk sends messages for the following purposes:

• One-time SMS login codes (required for account access)
• Game notifications — invites, reminders, and RSVP updates — by text, email, or both, per the delivery choice on your account page (text by default; SMS reminders only if you opted in)
• Calendar invitations by email for scheduled game nights (only if you added an email)
• Browser push notifications for time-sensitive alerts (only where you enabled them)

Message frequency varies based on your activity. For SMS, message & data rates may apply.

To opt out of reminder notifications: Reply STOP to any text we send, or change your notification settings on your account page. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Login codes will still be sent when you request them to access your account.

4. Data Retention

Your account information (name, phone number, and email address if provided) is retained as long as your account exists. Game results are stored for historical stats and leaderboards within your groups. You may contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.

5. Third-Party Services

SMS messages are delivered via Amazon Web Services (AWS) Simple Notification Service (SNS), and email via AWS Simple Email Service (SES). AWS may process your phone number or email address to deliver messages. See the AWS Privacy Notice for details.
